Google AdSense income can't be predicted exactly because It depends on lot's of factors including CPC, RPM, and CTR, etc but It doesn't mean that you can't make your desired money from AdSense. You can earn unlimited money from Google AdSense but It all depends on your blog, niche, quality, traffic, and optimization strategy.

Before continuing this topic can you answer my few questions. Why you write quality articles? Why you need SEO (search engine optimization), Why you choose a specific niche?, Why you optimize your blog? and Of course, Your answer would be to get traffic to your blog. Am I right?

Understand AdSense terms

To know how much traffic we need to make money with Google AdSense, We need to do some mathematical calculation with some assumptions. But before starting this mathematical calculation, You need to understand some AdSense terms.

AdSense total earnings depend on CPC (Click Per Cost), RPM (Page Revenue Per Thousand Impressions) and CTR (Click Through Rate).

Cost-Per-Click (CPC)	It is the amount you earn each time a user clicks on your ad. The CPC for any ad is determined by the advertiser; some advertisers may be willing to pay more per click than others, depending on what they're advertising.
Revenue Per Thousand Impressions (RPM)	It is calculated by dividing your estimated earnings by the number of page views you received, then multiplying by 1000. Page RPM = (Estimated earnings / Number of page views) * 1000 For example, if you earned an estimated $0.15 from 25 page views, then your page RPM would equal ($0.15 / 25) * 1000, or $6.00.
Click-Through Rate (CTR)	It is the number of ad clicks divided by the number of page views. Page CTR = Clicks / Page views For example, if you received 2 clicks for 250 page views, your page CTR would be .8%. (2/250=.8%)

CPC, RPM, and CTR can vary for the different - different blog because We don't have any control over these values. But in our case, I am assuming the average value for all these terms which most of the bloggers get.

According to the survey, Normal bloggers average CPC rate, RPM and CTR rates are $0.25, $3 and 10% receptively so I am using these values for our traffic calculations.

How Much Traffic You Need To Make 1 Million Dollar With Google AdSense in a Year?

I am assuming your CPC rate is, $0.25, RPM is $3 and CTR rate is 10% for this calculation. Also, your traffic is X. Keep in a note, These values can vary for a blog to blog because We don't have any control over these values.

There are two calculations for your total AdSense earnings, First using CPC and another with RPM So we will go through both one by one.

1st AdSense Earning = CPC * ( (X *10) / 100 )

1st AdSense Earning = CPC * (X/10)
1st AdSense Earning = 0.25 * (X/10)
1st AdSense Earning = 0.25X / 10

Now let's calculate your 2nd AdSense earning using RPM.

2st AdSense Earning = RPM * (X/1000)
2st AdSense Earning = 3 * (X/1000)
2st AdSense Earning = 3X / 1000

Now your total AdSense earnings would be... 1st AdSense Earning + 2st AdSense Earning = 1,000,000 (one million).

1st AdSense Earning + 2st AdSense Earning = (0.25X/10) + (3X/1,000)
1,000,000 (one million) = (0.25X/10) + (3X/1,000)
1,000,000 = [(0.25X*1,000) + (3X*10)] / 10,000
1,000,000 = (250X + 30X) / 10,000
1,000,000 = 280X / 10,000
1,000,000 = 28X / 1,000
1,000,000 * 1,000 = 28X
X = 3,57,14,285

That means You need approx 3,57,14,285 visitors to your blog in one year to make 1 Million having CPC rate, RPM and CTR rates - $0.25, $3 and 10% receptively.

Now let's make it simple... The traffic you need per day would be...

Visitors Per Day = 3,57,14,285 / 365
Visitors Per Day = 97, 847

That means you need approx 97, 847 visitors per day.

How Many Post You Need to Achieve This Above Goal?

You can't predict which article will give you which amount of traffic exactly but We will do by assuming here.

You can write 97, 847 articles per day and one of each article attract 1 unique visitor which is not an easy task and also it's impossible to do.

In another case, You can write 9,784 article per day and one of each attract approx 10 unique visitors which is also not an easy task and also it's impossible to do.

In the next case, You can write 978 article per day and one of each attract approx 100 unique visitors which is also not an easy task and also it's impossible to do.

In the next case, You can write 97 article per day and one of each attract approx 1,000 unique visitors which is also not an easy task and also it's impossible to do.

In the next case, You can write 9 article per day and one of each attract approx 10,000 unique visitors which is also not an easy task.

OMG, What the F**K is going on here. How you achieve your goal? Well, It's looking impossible because we are only talking about the blog traffic nothing else but AdSense earnings do not only depend on the traffic of your blog and That's the mistake.

How to Achieve the Above Goals?

First, I will recommend you to write 3 - 6 long length quality article per week. There is no maximum word limit but the minimum length of the article should be 700 words and also When done lots of research on article length that which works best on Google search page then researchers found, the average word count of a Google first page result was 1,890 - 2450 words.

Second, Optimize your blog or article for SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and also optimize your blog themes for AdSense ads.

Third, Use social media strategy to generate traffic from social media like Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and others.

Forth, Involve in Email marketing. Use Email marketing strategy to build a relationship with your old readers.

Fifth, Use heatmap to find the best place to show your AdSense ads.

Sixth, Use affiliate programs while using AdSense to generate extra income because when it comes to affiliate marketing it’s all about traffic quality and not traffic quantity.

Seventh, Choose a relevant niche for your blog that value for your readers and also for you.

Eighth, Become an Authority blog because authority blogs get a good amount of CPC, RPM and CTR rates.

Ninth, Be patience and make a long term plan...

How Much Traffic Authority blog Need To Make 1 Million Dollar With Google AdSense in a Year?

Authority blogs get a good amount of CPC, RPM and CTR rates. So here I am assuming their CPC rate is $6, RPM is $10 and the CTR rate is 50% for this calculation. Also, your traffic is X. Remember, These values can vary for a blog to blog because We don't have any control over these values.

There are two calculations for their total AdSense earnings, First using CPC and another with RPM So we will go through both one by one.

1st AdSense Earning = CPC * ( (X *50) / 100 )

1st AdSense Earning = CPC * (5X/10)
1st AdSense Earning = 6 * (5X/10)
1st AdSense Earning = 3X

Now let's calculate their 2nd AdSense earning using RPM.

2st AdSense Earning = RPM * (X/1000)
2st AdSense Earning = 10 * (X/1000)
2st AdSense Earning = X / 100

Now their total AdSense earnings would be... 1st AdSense Earning + 2st AdSense Earning = 1,000,000 (one million).

1st AdSense Earning + 2st AdSense Earning = (0.25X/10) + (3X/1,000)
1,000,000 (one million) = 3X + (X / 100)
1,000,000 = (300X+X) / 100
1,000,000 = 301X / 100
1,000,000 * 100 = 301X
X = 3,32,225

That means They need approx 3,32,225 visitors to their blog in one year to make 1 Million having CPC rate, RPM and CTR rates - $6, $10 and 50% receptively.

Now let's make it simple... The traffic they need per day would be...

Visitors Per Day = 3,32,225 / 365
Visitors Per Day = 910

That means they need approx 910 visitors per day.

How to make 1 Million dollars with Google AdSense in a year? This type of question is generally asked by many other new or beginners bloggers because they don't have patience and also they have lots of exceptions with their blog.

These bloggers generally want to be a millionaire overnight but that's a dream. Nobody can become a millionaire overnight because It takes time with patience and smart work. 

If you are one of them who wants to make a huge amount of money online using blogging then I will recommend you to concentrate on your blog for first 6 - 9 months then monetize it with AdSense and Affiliate programs. 

If you have targeted traffic then Affiliate programs will work better than AdSense because when it comes to affiliate marketing it’s all about traffic quality and not traffic quantity. You may generate $100+ a day from less than 100 daily unique visitors with affiliate marketing.
