Why 99% Bloggers Fail in Blogging and Making Money
Blogging is the new era of earning money online and launching yourself as a Brand. Most of the pro-bloggers are already earning millions of money per month using blogging and also they have become the most popular Brand over the world.
In reality, There is no limit in earning money using blogging and that is one of the main reason why people start blogging. Another reason is, You can do blogging at any time & anywhere. Also, you are your own boss.
Off course there is no limit in making money online using blogging but still, many bloggers fail to make even $100 per month and finally, they decided to quit blogging. According to a survey, Thousands of people start blogging per day and also thousands of bloggers quit blogging per day.
Today, I am going to reveal all the reasons why 99% bloggers fail in blogging and making money online so that you can avoid these same mistakes while doing blogging to generate huge income from your blog easily. So let's get started...
1. Lot's of Expectations
When people start blogging, They have lots of expectations with small plans. They think They will create a blog, Insert ads and Earn huge money from their blog but that's wrong.
When asked pro-bloggers, How much time It took to earn you decent money from your blog? and the answer was from most of the pro-blogger, 6 - 8 Month.
You may be thinking, What the F**k they are saying? But actually, they want to say here that It takes a lot of hours per week to build and maintain a quality blog. Usually, it takes months of blogging before seeing income from it.
They are suggesting new bloggers allow at least 6 - 8 months to make a decent part-time income and 1-2 years to make a consistent full-time income.
Keep in mind, It may take you fewer months or longer months instead of 6 - 8 month because it all depends on the strategy you use while blogging to build a quality blog.

2. No or Weak Strategy and Plans
Most of the bloggers don't have any strategy or plans while blogging. They just concentrate on writing or sometimes blog themes and customization.
While blogging, Concentrating on writing article and theme customization is a good strategy but they both should be in limit. They don't need to write 6 - 10 article or more per day but beginners do this mistake all the time because they think, They write the article and get ranked in Google search page or other search engines but that's truly wrong thinking.
When asked pro-bloggers about their strategic plans on blogging to make a decent amount of money from the blog then they told, Bloggers should write 4 - 10 quality article per week in a consistent way and while writing an article they also need to concentrate on Article title, descriptions, length, tags and focused keywords.
Having a good strategy plans, Bloggers can go with the long term business in blogging otherwise they will lose their hopes to earn money online with their blog which results in quieting blogging.
3. Lack of SEO (Search Engine Optimizations)
SEO aka Search Engine Optimization is the most important part in blogging that helps to rank blog and articles in search page but most of the bloggers even don't know about this or following wrong SEO optimizations strategy.
When asked pro-bloggers about their SEO optimization strategy then they told, Blogger, should do keyword research before writing articles then put the keyword in work and also they should always use their main focused keywords in the title & descriptions of the article but in the inside article, It should be in the limit to avoid keyword stuffing.
Keyword stuffing is a search engine optimization (SEO) technique, considered webspam or spamdexing, in which keywords are loaded into a web page's meta tags, visible content, or backlink anchor text in an attempt to gain an unfair rank advantage in search engines. Keyword stuffing may lead to a website being banned or penalized on major search engines either temporarily or permanently. The repetition of words in meta tags may explain why many search engines no longer use these tags.

Well, There is no ideal or exact percentage of keyword density for better ranking. Personally, 1-3% of keyword density along with "semantic keywords" and LSI keywords works best for me. Google suggests writing natural articles. Again, there is no ideal percentage, but placing your keyword in natural places will work the best.
Also while writing a quality article, You should keep on mind the length of the article. There is no maximum word limit but the minimum length of an article should be 700 words and also When done lots of research on article length that which works best on Google search page then researchers found, the average word count of a Google first page result was 1,890 - 2450 words.
4. Duplicate or Copyrighted Content
Most of the bloggers do this mistake and If you are of them who steal contents from other authoritative blogs then really it won't gonna work. As a duplicate or copyrighted content, It wouldn't be rank high on the search page or sometimes if it then the real owner can send the legal notice to you to protect their original content.
When I was a new blogger, I have done the same mistake many times in my earlier blog. I used to copy original contents from the authoritative blogs but one day I got the legal notice from these authoritative blogs when that duplicated content got high rank on the search page. It was the legal notice to remove that duplicate content but If I don't remove then they will knock the door of court legally. This legal notice was a nightmare for me and after that, I can't repeat the same mistake again so I decided to move on with this blog with my original quality contents.
In old days, I don't like to write articles and that's the reason why I used to post duplicate content on my earlier blog but When I decided to move on with my original content then I created this blog and Really, You don't believe that I love to write articles now.
In my case, while writing quality articles, I forget myself and I just write. It takes a whole day to write me an article with 1500 - 3000-word count and Generally, I love to write long length article. Sorry actually it's my mistake because you really won't believe me, At the end when I finish my article then the word count reaches between 1500 - 3000 or more. I don't count the words while writing the quality article for my blog. It just reaches at that word count automatically, I don't how?
Again, If you are one of them who post duplicate or copyrighted content from other authoritative blogs then don't do it. Just write your own original content. If you don't like to write the article then Just give a try and You really won't believe, You will love to write after that try.
5. Too Many Ads
People start blogging to earn money online and that's the main reasons they concentrate on Ads. Ads can really generate huge income for you but You must have sufficient amount of traffics and also you should have an Authoritative blog.
Keep in mind, Too many ads can irritate your readers and results, They will leave your blog ASAP.
In most of the experiments, 1 - 3 ads work best instead of more than 3 ads. While placing ads you need to concentrate on Ads locations, not the number of ads to be displayed.
Having fewer Ads on your blog, Doesn't irritate the readers and that's the reasons they spend a long time on your articles which is another SEO factor that helps to boost your article or blog ranking on the search page.
If you have a question in your mind that Why spending time is important to rank high on search page then let me explain it. When someone is spending lots of time in your blog or articles then It gives the signal to search engines that this article is loved by people and of course when people love that one then the search engine would love too.
Instead of it, It also sends the signal to the search engine that the article you are providing is valuable and full of information that's why people are spending lots of time in your blog and article which result in your high ranking on the search page.
For Ads placement, There are many different - different opinions from the pro-bloggers but In my case, I will suggest you to use heatmap strategy to find your perfect Ads placement. Heatmap strategy allows you to know where most of the readers are clicking on your blog while reading.
6. Link Building and Backlinks
Link building and Backlinks are both the SEO factors that help to boost your ranking. The example of the best internal link building is, non-other than Wikipedia. Wikipedia has lot's of internal link and that's the reasons, people spend lots of their time on this website.
Keep in mind, Internal link should be do-follow and External links should be no-follow. Well, by default all internal links and external links are do-follow.
- Internal Links are hyperlinks that point at (target) the same domain as the domain that the link exists on (source).
- External Links are hyperlinks that point at (target) any domain other than the domain the link exists on (source).
Internal linking has three main purposes: Aids in website navigation, Defines the architecture and hierarchy of a website and Distributes page authority and ranking power throughout the site.
Most of the pro-bloggers advice to keep Internal and External links in proportions ratio to increase the SEO value of your blog which is also a good idea but one thing I wanna tell here, There’s no fixed number of internal links that you should add to your website. If the links are relevant, add them and Make sure all links look natural on your pages.
Once you have decided which links should be on a page and which pages should get link value, it’s important to use the right anchor text. The anchor text is the clickable text that visitors see.
Now let's talk about Backlinks, These are the incoming links to a webpage. When a webpage links to any other page, it's called a backlink. In the past, backlinks were the major metric for the ranking of a webpage. A page with a lot of backlinks tended to rank higher on all major search engines, including Google.
Backlinks are still the major metric for the ranking of a webpage but If you receive these links from Authoritative website or blogs. If you are receiving backlinks from non-authoritative website or blogs then it's useless and won't help you to rank higher in search engines.
7. Blog or Website Niche
A blog niche is also an important part of blogging. Most of the bloggers start blogging with lots of un-relevant niches.
According to the pro-bloggers, Bloggers should choose a particular niche to blog with and also concentrate on it because it gives your blog a special value. It also gives a signal to search engines that what your blog is about which is really a good thing to rank high on that particular niche.
I have seen many bloggers start with particular niche but as the time goes on, They unable to find topics to write on that niche which they are blogging for and that's the reasons they decided to write un-relevant niche articles on their blog which is the wrong tactic.
I recommend you to give some time approx one week or more to decide your niche for long term plan before starting your blogging journey. Keep in mind, most of the pro-bloggers took approx 3 months to decide their right niche. Yes, You heard right 3 months.
Off course, It's a too long time but you don't have any idea what benefits it would give them. While deciding their niche, They also create a blueprint of their articles, I mean what they are going to write about in the next 3 months which is called pre-planned strategy.
Also, they decide, How many articles they are going to write per week or day in their blog because consistency is another important factor to boost blog value and to rank high in search engines.
When asked pro-bloggers that what should be the blog niche to start blogging, They replied: "First bloggers should find their passions then write about what they know". But in my case, that's not enough because The key to building a successful blog is finding a "profitable" niche.
According to me, I will suggest you pick that topic which you enjoy talking about then do some research on it and then select that one which has lower competitions.
8. Social Media Promotions
Social media can give a huge benefit to a blogger by increasing their blog traffic, If you have a good amount of followers on social media like Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and others.
Most of the bloggers don't do the social media promotions because they don't know the value of it and also getting a good number of followers is not the easy task in social media at the starting so it takes time but bloggers don't have patients.
Social media is not only the platform to share articles but also you can directly interact with your blog visitors to know what they are talking about you and also they can help you to choose your new article topic to write on your blog. They can tell you what they want from you.
Also, When your article is shared by someone on social media then it increases the SEO value of your that article. Getting a good number of social media share or likes is also a good tactic to increase your blog value.
I recommend you to create an official page for your blog on Social media like Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and others. After creating these pages, Just share your newly posted articles on it. Also, join some groups on social media which are related to your blog niche and share your article with them.
Also, I recommend you to use social sharing buttons on your blog which allows your readers to share your articles on social media and instead of it, Also place your social media widget on your blog so that they can be your followers.
9. Black hat Technique
This is the most common mistake that every new blogger do in blogging to increase their blog traffic instantly using some software available in the black hat market world.
Google is smarter than you and also it's the King of all marketplace. If you are using black hat techniques to increase your blog traffic then, Google can also penalize your blog for doing this activity or even block you.
Some black hat technique may also help you to boost your blog or article ranking in search page but it would be temporary because when Google updates their algorithm, They will catch you and penalize your blog.
I don't know why blogger uses black hat technique to boost their blog ranking because If your article is relevant then It would get automatically high rank on the search page but If it's not then nobody will visit your blog even you get high rank on search using black hat technique.
Instead of using black hat technique, I recommend you to write a quality article that values for people. You may hear that Content is King. Off course that's really true.
10. Email Marketing
Most of the blogger still don't use the email marketing strategy to collect their blog visitors email addresses but this is also the main strategy which is used by all pro-bloggers and website owners to put some extra income in their pocket.
Email marketing helps not only to keep in touch with your old readers but also it helps you to maximize your affiliate earnings by sending some offers to them via Email.
Your readers subscribe to your blog because they trust you and this trust helps you to build your leadership in the blogging field.
But make sure, You don't send irrelevant email to your subscriber otherwise they will unsubscribe your blog ASAP and You will lose your relationship with your readers.
Also, keep in mind, You don't force your readers to subscribe to your blog. If you do, It won't gonna work for you and they will immediately leave your blog without reading your quality content articles so It's a good idea to give them a choice to subscribe to your channel.
Conclusion:
I have given the overview of bloggers mistakes and You don't believe, All topic has broad in itself.
By avoiding all of the above mistakes, You can generate huge income from your blog in a few months instead of 6 - 8 months.
Remember, There is no any limit to make money online using blogging and I can definitely say that If you follow what I have told you, You can have a decent amount of money per month from your blog.
At the End, Be real person, Be genuine, Make a long term plan, Choose your perfect niche, Concentrate on writing quality articles instead of posting duplicate contents, Optimize your blog with SEO, Involve in social media marketing, Use Email Marketing Strategy, Concentrate on link building, Get backlinks from authoritative blogs and so on.
