Enable Direct Bank Transfer for AdSense Payment in India

Enable Direct Bank Transfer for AdSense Payment in India

I am an Indian AdSense publisher and I used to get AdSense payment from the check because in past there was no option of EFT (Electronic fund transfer) payment for Indian AdSnese users but now you can enjoy getting your AdSense payment directly into your bank account without waiting anymore.

You don’t need to wait for receiving the check and check clearance time. As an AdSense publisher, this feature is beneficial and making our work paper-less.

Electronic funds transfer (EFT) are electronic transfer of money from one bank account to another, either within a single financial institution or across multiple institutions, via computer-based systems, without the direct intervention of bank staff.

Configure Wire Transfer for AdSense Payment in India

I don't think that the whole process of configuring wire transfer for AdSense payment will take more than 10 minutes and I highly recommend you to all AdSense publishers to do that to save time for future payment.

But before continue, You must have your bank IFSC and Swift code because these are the mandatory things you need while configuration wire transfer.

To get IFSC and Swift code, You can call to your bank customer care which is very good option instead of getting these things using google search.

Once you enable the direct bank deposit feature, you can also specify the payment threshold and hold your payment for up-to one year. So, let’s get on with our quick guide for enabling EFT payment for your AdSense account.
  • Login to your AdSense account and Click on gear box and select payments.
  • Click on Payment settings under payment page.
  • Click on add a new form of payment.
On the next screen, you need to enter your bank account details including IFSC code and Swift BIC code. In my case I’m using ICICI bank account and I have used following Swift code to receive payment: ICICINBBNRI.

If you are calling ICICI bank they will provide you with 2 swift code CHASUS33XXX for USD and ICICINBBNRI for INR. You need to enter Swift code for INR and conversion will be taken care by your bank.

This may change if you are using any other bank account, so I suggest you to re-confirm it from your bank customer care.

Once filled all the details, You can save the payment and You have done. That's it. Now you will receive money directly into your bank account and here are few more details which you need to know about updated AdSense Payment policy:
  • You can update your payment method until 20th of any month.
  • You can now use any AdSense payment threshold greater than minimum ($100) payment.
  • You can hold your payment until any specific date; maximum up to 1 year. (Though I discourage you to use this feature, as you might face issue if AdSense decide to ban your account).
Over all, direct bank deposit feature is the best option to receive your AdSense payment quickly and It is already making life of many Indian AdSense publisher easy.

If you have not updated your AdSense Payment option yer then it’s time to log into your AdSense account, and update payment settings.

The minimum payment threshold for EFT payment is $100 and as pin verification is mandatory process from AdSense to verify your address, so it is also mandatory after AdSense introduced EFT payment.

In case if you are using any other bank like Axis, SBI, HDFC and you know which Swift code you are using, do share with us via comment. This will be helpful for our other readers.
