• RPM ( Revenue for Mile ) which means, Revenue Per 1000 impressions. calculated by dividing your estimated earnings by the number of page views you received, then multiplying by 1000. For example, if you earned an estimated $0.15 from 25 page views, then your page RPM would equal ($0.15 / 25) * 1000, or $6.00.
• CTR ( Click-through rate ) is the ratio of users who click on a specific link to the number of total users who view a page, email, or advertisement. It is commonly used to measure the success of an online advertising campaign for a particular website as well as the effectiveness of email campaigns.

As I said, Your AdSense income comes directly from Advertisers and If they are paying for something then they may get something in return eg. product sales and conversion etc. Keep in mind, Nobody gives you money for free.

Now you may have question that how much they pay? Well, It all depends on their needs and requirements. They may pay $0.25 to $80 per click or more or $0.10 to $6 per thousand impressions or more. Remember above these are the examples not the exact value to make you better understand and they may vary from conditions to conditions.

AdSense Earning Calculations for Informative and educational content videos:

According to my survey, You can get $1 to $86 or more per click and $1 to $6 or more per thousand impressions, If you have informative or educational content videos. 

Let me explain with an example; I am assuming you have Mobile reviews content, CPC is $3, RPM is $5, Page CTR (Click through rate) of 10% and You also you get 1 Lac views so your earning would be...

1st AdSense Earning = CPC * CTR (1,00,000*10/100)

1st AdSense Earning = 3 * 10,000

1st AdSense Earning = 30,000

That means, You will make $30,000 if you have 1 Lac views on your YouTube videos with CPC is $3 and Page CTR (Click through rate) is 10% but this is not your final AdSense earning.

2nd AdSense Earning = RPM * (Views/ 1000)

2nd AdSense Earning = 5 * (1,00,000/1000)

2nd AdSense Earning = 5 * 100

2nd AdSense Earning = 500

That means, You will make $500, if you have 1 Lac views on your YouTube videos with RPM is $5 but this is also not your final AdSense earning so now let's calculate your final earning in AdSense account.

Final AdSense Earning = 1st AdSense Earning + 2nd AdSense Earning

Final AdSense Earning = $30,000 + $500

Final AdSense Earning = $35,000

So your final AdSense earning would be $35,000, if you have 1 Lac views on your YouTube videos with CPC is $3, RPM is $5 and Page CTR (Click through rate) is 10%. Also remember these all are the assumptions values to make you better understand. These values may vary conditions to conditions. 

Affiliate Earning Calculations for Informative and educational content videos:

Off course you can also earn extra income from your YouTube videos if you informative and educational content videos by simply putting your affiliate links on the videos descriptions. 

Let me explain with an existing example which i have taken in AdSense earning, Assuming you have mobile reviews contents and using Amazon associate program. 

Generally, If someone purchase anything from Amazon with your affiliate link then you get 1% to 15%  of that product. The percentage depends on the product categories and In our case, If you have mobile related content then you will get 10% to 15% as Amazon mentioned in their official page.

I am also assuming that you get 1 Lac views on your videos, 10% commission rate, 30% of people converted into sales and the mobile product amount is $15,000 so your Amazon affiliate earning would be...

Affiliate Earning = 10% commission of product * (1,00,000*30/100)

Affiliate Earning = 1,500 * 30,000

Affiliate Earning = 4,50,00,000

So your final affiliate earning would be $4,50,00,000; If you have 1 Lac views on your videos, 10% commission rate, 30% of people converted into sales and the mobile product amount is $15,000 and Keep in mind, these are the assumptions values to make you better understand. The product commission rates may different in different products and affiliate programs you are using.

Why Non-Educational and Funny Content Videos Doesn't Generate High Revenue?

As I already said, Your AdSense income comes directly from Advertisers and If they are paying for something then they may get something in return eg. product sales and conversion etc but If your content niche is related to non-educational, funny or something else then how the Advertiser will get their product sales or any type of conversion from those irrelevant viewers. Just think about it, Think like an Advertiser which wants to make sales something.

Keep in mind, When your content is related to non-educational, funny or something else then AdSense also shows the irreverent Ads on your Videos and Blogs which has fairly low CPC and RPM. Also note that Google generate 70% income from their these Advertisers so to protect their Advertisers they show the irreverent Ads. I hope you understand, What I want to say here.

Generally, AdSense irrelevant ads has $0.10 to $0.30 CPC and $0.10 to $0.50 RPM which is very low as compared to relevant AdSense Ads.

AdSense Earning Calculations for Non-Educational and Funny content videos:

I have already mentioned that Non-educational or funny content videos has fairly low CPC and RPM. Now let me explain with some examples how much you can earn money using these type of content videos.

Here I am assuming same views that i have taken above which is 1 Lac, CPC is $0.20, RPM is $0.30 and CTR is 10% , So now let's calculate your total AdSense earning now according to these values.

1st AdSense Earning = CPC * (1,00,000*10/100)

1st AdSense Earning = 0.20 * 10,000

1st AdSense Earning = 2,000

That means, You will make $2,000 with 1 Lac views having CPC $0.20 and CTR 10% but keep in mind this is not a total AdSense earning.

2nd AdSense Earning = RPM * (Views/1000)

2nd AdSense Earning = RPM * (1,00,000/1000)

2nd AdSense Earning = 0.30 * 100

2nd AdSense Earning = 30

That means, You will make $30 with 1 Lac views having RPM $0.30 and also keep in mind this is not a total AdSense earning so now let's calculate the total AdSense earning 

Total AdSense Earning = 1st AdSense Earning + 2nd AdSense Earning

Total AdSense Earning = 2,000 + 30

Total AdSense Earning = 2,030

That means, You will make only $2,030 having having CPC $0.20, RPM $0.30 and CTR 10% which is very low as compared to informative or educational content videos.

Affiliate Earning Calculations for Non-Educational and Funny content videos:

Have you watched a Non-educational, funny or something else videos? Did you checked their video descriptions? I know, Your answer would be NO, then how you will make sales from it.

There is no objection that you can put any affiliate links on the videos descriptions but the question is who will click on these links and make purchase. I can say, You may get some clicks but It wouldn't be converted to sales.
