PayPal is oldest and most trustable online money transfer service to send and receive money among the all countries. If you are a Blogger or Business owner then you may know already the importance of these online payment services.

Usually, You can make online payments using your bank debit card and credit card but to receive payments you need to have a online money transfer service like PayPal and If you are Blogger then keep in mind that most of the advertising networks pay your affiliate earnings using PayPal, so it’s good to have a verified PayPal account.

You can send payment to anyone after linking your bank debit card or credit card to your PayPal account but in case to receive your payment, You need to link bank account with your PayPal account which will remove the withdrawal limit from your PayPal account and at the end you can also withdraw the PayPal money to your bank account which have linked with it.

Generally, There is no PayPal restrictions for any countries instead of few Asian country like India. 
  • Indian PayPal users can only withdraw their PayPal money to their bank account.
  • They can’t use their PayPal money directly for online purchases or payments.

    Most of the people doesn't have any credit card because to get credit card you need to fulfill the bank requirements like minimum account balance, salary or something else which is not easy for everyone but to get a debit card from any bank is so easy because it doesn't require any special requirement which is the main reason that most of the people have debit cards.

    Do you use your bank debit card for online payment? Have you faced any problem with your debit card while making online payment? Well, Some online services only require a credit card to accept the online payment but when you use PayPal account then you will be able to use your debit card to make payment for such online services, If they accept PayPal.

    Your bank account and card details are very credential things also bank warns us not to share these things with others but while using PayPal account, You can make online payments without exposing your debit card or credit card details.

    Using your PayPal account, You will be able to receive payment from overseas accounts such as clients or advertising payments and also You will be able to cancel the recurring payments at anytime, If any online service charge recurring payments. Instead of it, You can send mass payments using PayPal and also You can create & send invoices directly to your client.

    Steps To Create PayPal Account:

    To create a PayPal account, First head over this link to visit official PayPal website then simply click on "Sign Up Now" button and after that on the next page, Select your account type which may be "Individual account" or "Business account".

    I will recommend you to go with an Individual account until you are not Business person. You can upgrade your Individual account anytime to Business account by going through PayPal dashboard, If you ever need to upgrade it.

    Now after selecting your account type, Just click on "Continue"

    After redirecting on the next page, Simply select your country and provide your email address and password for your PayPal account then click on "Continue" again.

    When done, You will be redirected on next page and on that page, Just complete the form with your personal information then click on "Agree and Create account" button after checking the box to agree which is very important to create your PayPal account.

    When redirected to another page, Simply click on "I'll link my card later" and If prompted new message, Just click on "Yes, Skip It".

    Keep in mind, If you have debit card or credit card and want to fill that time then you can complete the form but here, I will tell you how to link your debit card or credit card to PayPal on the next step.

    Now you can go to your Dashboard by click on "Account" option.

    Steps to Verify PayPal Account by Completing Tasks:

    If you belongs to Asian country like India then your account would be limited. You can only send payments to anyone using your debit card or credit card but to receive Payment you need to complete these 4 tasks:
    • Provide PAN
    • Confirm Email
    • Link/ Add Bank Account
    • Provide Purpose Code
    To complete these tasks, Go to your PayPal dashboard and click on "Complete your Tasks" or Simply click on this link to visit the pending verification page.

    Task 1: Pan Card

    Your PAN card name should be exactly same as your PayPal account name. If you don’t have a PAN card yet, then you should create a PayPal account in the name of your parents.

    Provide 10-digit alphanumeric code as on your PAN card and click on "Submit" option.

    Task 2: Confirm Email

    To confirm your Email authorship, You need to verify your email account and You know already why because you are already smart enough to understand this reason. 

    To verify your email account, Just go to your email inbox and then click on verification link from received email which is sent by PayPal team.

    Task 3: Link or Add Bank Account

    To link your bank account click on "Start" in front of Add bank account then on the next page, Just complete the form with your Name, Bank Account Number, NEFT IFSC Code and then simply click on "Review" option.

    Now Paypal will send you 2 small deposits in your bank account. After receiving the deposit (In my case it took only 24 hour to receive two small transactions), you need to login to your PayPal account, click on verify at top and enter the amount to complete verification of your Bank account and PayPal linking.

    The above process may take 2 - 5 days to complete. Be patient.

    Task 4: Purpose Code

    Purpose code indicates the type or nature of business for which you are receiving payments to your PayPal account that helps RBI to track the nature and type of transaction that’s going on.

    To add purpose code, click on "Start" in front of Add Purpose Code. 

    Advertising-and-Market-Research

    If you are receiving Payment for affiliate commission or advertising, select "Advertising and market research" or select what is appropriate in your case. However, this will be your default purpose code, and at the time of withdrawing money from PayPal account to your Bank account, you can select any other.

    Link Debit or Credit Card to PayPal Account

    This is an optional step and you need to complete this step only if you also want to make online payment or send payment via your debit card or credit card otherwise your PayPal account is fully functional.

    To link your debit or credit card, Just go to PayPal Dashboard then click on "Link Debit/ Credit Card" and follow the instruction from screen.

    In case if you want to add a new credit card or debit card or edit/remove existing credit card or debit card, then you can do so by going to Profile >> Link/ Edit Credit Card.

    Final Points About PayPal Account

    Once you receive payment on your PayPal account it will be automatically sent to your Bank account within 3-7 days. I haven’t still found a step to stop this automatic process.

    Also use strong password to protect your account from unauthorized access.
